Commercial use

Can You Use AI-Generated Music Commercially?

Monetized YouTube, TikTok, ads, games, and streaming: what is allowed on AI-Song and what to check first.

AI-Song Team · Product and music editors at ai-song.ai·

Short answer

Yes, while you have an active paid plan. With any AI-Song paid plan (monthly, yearly, or the one-time pack) you can use your songs in monetized YouTube and TikTok videos, ads, podcasts, games, and client work. Songs made on the free plan are for personal use only.

Commercial rights last while your paid plan is active. If you cancel a subscription, they continue until the end of the period you paid for, then end, including for songs made earlier.

Copyright in AI-generated audio is unsettled and differs by country, so AI-Song grants you a license to use the song rather than promising copyright ownership. Keep your plan receipt and the original download as proof.

What happens if you cancel

Commercial rights last while your paid plan is active. If you cancel a subscription, they continue until the end of the period you paid for, then end, including for songs made earlier.

Plan for this before you publish: keep the plan active for as long as you monetize or commercially use the songs, for example on a channel you keep earning from.

YouTube and Content ID

AI-Song generates new audio for every request, so it is not copied from a stock library that others have registered. That lowers the risk of Content ID claims, but no generator can guarantee zero claims: another user or a distributor can register similar audio.

If you get a claim, dispute it with your paid-plan receipt and the generation date from My Music.

Spotify and other streaming services

AI-Song does not distribute music for you. Distributors such as DistroKid or TuneCore have their own rules on AI-generated content; read them before uploading. Do not imitate a real artist's voice or name.

What we do not promise

  • Automatic copyright ownership in every country.
  • Immunity from Content ID or takedown claims.
  • Commercial rights for songs made on the free plan.
  • Commercial rights that continue after your paid plan ends.

Yes, while your AI-Song paid plan is active. Free-plan songs are personal use only.

What happens to commercial rights if I cancel?+

Commercial rights last while your paid plan is active. If you cancel a subscription, they continue until the end of the period you paid for, then end, including for songs made earlier.

Do I own the copyright to an AI-generated song?+

Yes. The one-time $39.8 pack is a paid plan and includes downloads and commercial rights while the pack is active.
